what is the difference between the material of 201 and 304?
First, the chemical composition is different. The contents of nickel and chromium in 201 material and 304 material are different. Compared with 201 material, 304 material has more of these two chemicals.So the rust resistance of 304 material is better than 201material.
Second, the physical properties are different. The hardness of 201material is harder than that of 304 material. Comparison of hardness of conventional cold rolled steel strip: hardness of 201material is 230 degrees, and hardness of 304 material is 170 degrees.
Third, the application fields are different. 304 stainless steel clamp can be used in the environment below 500 degrees, or the environment with certain corrosion resistance. 201 stainless steel clamp is suitable for ordinary hardware decoration and it can only be used in relatively dry environment.
