advantage:
① No metal consumption of gating system and riser system, improving process yield
②The casting has high density, less porosity, and high mechanical properties.
③ It is convenient for manufacturing composite metal castings such as cylinder and sleeve. When forming castings, the metal filling capacity can be improved by centrifugal force, so thin-wall castings can be produced.
Disadvantages:
① There are some limitations in the production of special-shaped castings.
②It is not suitable for castings (such as lead bronze) where the alloy is prone to specific gravity segregation, especially for alloys where the specific gravity of impurities is greater than that of molten metal.
